Cleansing and this weekend
Namaste everyone...
Just thought I'd let you know that this weekend we're going provide space for Shivabalayogi, a meditation master from India to come and offer a free meditation program to all who might like to attend. I've never studied with Shivabalayogi and all I know is from their website and the sweet organizer that contacted me and asked about donating our space for their work. Shivabalayogi is on tour from India and I'm always interested in meditation practices so...they'll be at the downtown studio from 2-4pm on Saturday. It's free and all are welcome. I hope your curiousity gets the best of you!
Is anyone cleansing this fall? Deb Cc'd me on an email a few weeks ago that sounded like a group of you might be. If so, I'd love (and I know other cleanse friends of yours would as well) to hear a little more about how it's going for you. My hope was that in the absence of a formal cleanse this Fall some of you might try taking things "to the next level" and see how the cleanse commitment feels on your own. And that you'd share your experience with the rest of us via the blog site as an offering.
I'm personally weaning from dairy (no coffee, meat or alcohol to contend with) and have started the delicious regimen of my colon cleanser and apple juice twice a day. Bread is next but since I'm going to Jennifer's class at noon today downtown and that studio is SO CLOSE to Fervere and they only bake Thurs-Fri-Sat, I have serious doubts that my bread weaning will begin today.

Iam "doing the cleanse" that sounds like a dance!
I am weaning myself off of chocolate and bread. Bread is so comforting to me, guess I'll find comfort in something else.

i have been cleansing this week. tomorrow i can begin fish, beans etc. thank god.
julie and i went on vacation a couple of weeks ago and we indulged in some very tasty, very non cleanse food and drink. i did not feel good when we got back-too much cheer! anyway, i had to begin my cleanup processes right away. it has been going ok. since i have been working and cleansing its been tricky to eat enough and eat a variety because at this moment if i eat one more piece of cauliflower, i think i'm going to hurl!
adding protein tomorrow will be a good thing. :)
I have been in pre-cleanse this week and it is a much different feeling. seems to be more challenging to stay with reducing foods? focus on nonresistance.
cleansing is good but so is spaghetti!
