Cleansing this Fall

Hello sweet ones,

Thanks to all of you who supported our Global Mala event. As usual, you were exceptional abassadors of yoga and I was extremely proud and grateful!

I've had some questions about a Fall Cleanse and I wanted to let you know that I won't be hosting a Fall Cleanse at the studios this season. However, I have total confidence in your ability to embark on your own Fall Cleanse using what you've learned from your past cleanse(s), 2 studios class schedules, your journal and this blogsite to create a powerful experience. In many ways, this is the evolution of the practice. In a less managed environment we are now given the opportunity to see how much of this process has penetrated and where we need to focus on growth and balance.

If you need help - ask for it here! Maybe there's someone who will syncopate with you on a practice schedule for 6 days? Or maybe there's someone who will work with you on creating and sticking to a cleanse menu for the week? Or maybe it's just helpful to announce that you're cleansing, as a way of making if official so we can cheer you on and be there if you need us?

I'm also offering a workshop downtown on Oct. 26 that you might incorporate into any cleanse plans. Dr. Will Tuttle, author of the book "The World Peace Diet" is coming to give a talk about how to eat more mindfully and harmoniously with all beings on the planet. Will's book is provocative and transformative and is the first book to make explicit the invisible connections between our culture, our food, and the source of our broad range of problems—and the way to a positive transformation in our individual and collective lives.

Just for your reference, the products I normally order for us are also available for individual purpose at Nature's Pantry. You can find the Tri-Cleanse Complete Internal Cleanser with Triphala and the Dandelion Root tincture in the herbal supplement section of the store. The pro-biotic is available in the refrigerated section of the herbal supplement section of the store. I am sure these products are also available at Whole Foods and Wild Oats, just ask someone in their herbs and vitamins dept. exactly where they are.

I look forward to all the unfolds...

Namaste,
Gina
