Anyone, anyone?
I am so troubled by how many people from the Spring Cleanse Kula have dropped off the mat since our time together. Some of you had a consistent practice prior to the cleanse and immersion and then after a week that is meant to enhance and deepen your practice, you have all but disapeared. If anyone of you that is MIA is still reading this blog, can you help me understand? It is making me feel very reluctant to continue to offer the cleanse and immersion if the effects are not serving to deepen your yoga practice and improve the quality of your life. Anything you are willing to offer will help!
Love to you all,
Gina

Hello, this is mike hartnett. I can only speak for myself but I am looking forward to getting back into yoga soon (early next week specifically). Immediately after the cleanse I did a fair number of classes and moved to more basic and solar classes which I had not taken much of before (i mainly did lunar previously). But even while doing this I was sort of rebelling against the cleanse switching back to convenient fast food and soda. The diet and reduction in TV/Radio during the cleanse was pretty hard for me and once these restrictions were off I went into a bit of a downward spiral (not scary at all but not healthy). I think I ended up viewing the cleanse as something to survive rather than experience. I'm not sure if my experience is unique or helpful but I do feel the cleanse is a worthwhile endeavor though perhaps one I had not prepared myself for properly beforehand.
Don't cancel the cleanse!!! I am already planning to take vacation time for the next one. But yes, I am one of the ones that fell off the planet...I think part of it was like you talked about in the other blog (about not being motivated) and because I had not renewed my class pass it was easy to skip class...then I got a cold for a week, which progressed into a fever for a week - so no energy and I didn't want to spread germs . I am signed up for Sunday's meditation and hope that will get me back on the right track! I did sign up to get all the emails from Yoga Journal - so it is definitely something I am keeping front and center in my mind.
I miss the cleanse!Change nothing! It is what it is! An eye opener, heart opener, lets get REAL! I think it offers more sevice than harm. Maybe if not just to shake the student and allow them in their own time to completly arrive in due season. The seed is planted some are just late bloomers. You have a big heart! You give so Freely! They will be back and their experience will attract others! Tenfold! I love your passion, it is contagious!
