wild ride

I've just spent the last 4 days with previous commitments, appointments and sharing our home with two of our best friends. We saw them off this afternoon. They are headed back home to Sydney, Australia, Work brought them hear a little less than 4 years ago. The two of them came as newlyweds and they are going back as three. They have a beautiful little girl who recently turned 1yr old.
They have taught us a lot about the importance of friendship. We've always had family around to rely on and they didn't. So when we encouraged them to rely on us, they taught us we could also rely on them. It was a lesson we (meaning myself and husband Rich) needed to learn.
We had our tear full good by this afternoon at-----THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY!!!!!!!!!!
Yes indeed, I ate everything from the sampler platters ( 4of them), some of Rich's crab sandwich and two different kinds of pizza.
We sat out under an umbrella, the weather was perfect. We have a lot of wonderful memories and we topped it off today, it was like icing on our cake. (even though I don't like icing).

I've had a total of six friends move away in the last year and a half! It's sad!

I'm glad yoga can"t move away!
