First of all, the coconut jasmine rice recipe is really good. so is the sweet potato recipe. julie made them both yesterday. oh and Gina suggested slicing an avocado in the rice.
second, this is kinda personal but would it be normal to experience itchy skin after starting the colon cleanse, the tincture and cleaning up the diet? i don't remember this happening during the last cleanse so maybe i'm alittle more toxic this time, which wouldn't surprise me. would the dry brushing help too? i haven't started the brushing habit yet, my habit is to get in the shower and then get out, super fast!
:)

If it's a skin issue, dry brushing will totally help. Stopping to take the brush and actually brush your body is almost more about the "stopping" than it is the brushing. I mean, of course the brushing is hugely important but I often think, "no time for brushing today" and then I laugh because it takes less than 1 minute. Get real. So I stop and I brush and it feels good and I can almost hear my skin saying "Ahhhh, thanks". On the other hand, it could be your body eliminating toxins or jonesing for caffeine or sugar. In which case, your body just has to "come down" and it should go away.

Hey Shannon -- I tried to post once before and did something weird, so I'm trying again. I have sensitive skin and sometimes actually get a rash when I am detoxing...Keep drinking lots of water, that seems to help me.
i finally remembered to dry brush yesterday and it was good. and i shall keep drinking water. another thing too is that now i'm off work for the week, away from noisy machines and people. :) (even though i'm one of the noisy ones) and i can totally concentrate on this and enjoy myself and others!
