Aversion Alert

Just tried the liver tonic! Wow! I honestly wasn't sure it was going to stay down. The previous substance we used was a dandelion extract which could be put into tea to cover the taste. Not this stuff. Has anyone found a more pleasant way to drink it or is it a shoot it and bear it kinda thing?

Otherwise - Day 1 in 'East' tribe was terrific. Lots of sweat for us too. I am still not used to meditating at the end of a tough practice - my mind was all over the place and some of the locations it departed to were weird and a little surprising. Instead of labeling it 'thinking', I labeled some thoughts as 'what the heck and where did that come from?' Did anyone do anything special today to get themselves settled?

Happy Monday!
Becky

I mixed it with about 1/2 cup very warm water, which made it into a tea-like thing. It wasn't too bad, and I tried to imagine it was good. It is 11 am and I am starving, that has to be a total mind thing. I am also worried I might develope an attachment to potatoes! Linda

Try not to let the tonic or the cleanser spend a lot of time on your tongue. Open the back of your throat and throw it back to the back of your mouth and swallow. Think back to college drinking games...

Oddly enough, I find the liver tincture tolerable. In fact, I like it. I swirl it around my glass like a fine wine, and then down the hatch it goes. It is all about presentation.

i agree our dandelion extract was much tastier! We are drinking ours in shot glasses if that gives you an idea of quantity.

I agree with Sarah. It's all about Presentation. That's exactly what I do. A very dark red wine. Would you not agree? Bottoms up!
As for your mind? .............
