Amma
Namaste Cleanse Kula...
Jeff and I just got back from seeing Amma on her US tour in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. It was deeply moving and truly remarkable to be in the Presence of someone who has attained YOGA, union with the Higher Self. Reading about the Buddha and other spiritual luminaries is inspiring but being in the presence of one who has actually done the work and continues to do the work to get there is truly indescribable, beyond the limits of words and into the realm of pure feeling.
I wrote a little bit about it on the main blogsite in case you're interested. I look forward to seeing you all on our path this week.
Much love,
Gina

I really don't know why! The other cities she's traveling to are much bigger. It wasn't made clear why they chose that town. I know there is an Amma satsang, a group of her devotees, in Fairfield, Iowa, about 25 minutes away and maybe they lobbied hard to get her to come? Maybe because it's centrally located? Indeed, it was really remote. Almost bizarrely remote but I felt REALLY lucky. A friend fo mine always goes to see her when she comes to LA and it's normal to hang out for multiple days to receive darshan. A typical line lasts about 18 hours or so. For us it was nothing even close to that. So I'm grateful it was remote!
