attachments----mindfulness

gina,
things were going bad this mornng. no way can i (little i) go to class with all these problems to handle. thank goodness I listened to my higher self (BIG I). Morning practice is exactly where I needed to be. thanks for reminding us about attachments. i too struggled with attachment this weekend. thanks for pointing us in the right direction. I took monday from challenging to mindful oneness.

It never ceases to amaze me how similar we all are, yet our ego (little i) is always trying to somehow make us "different", "special", "unique" and "separate". Imagine how connected we would feel, how much more we could all help each other if we just began to realize our similarities, our connectedness and our oneness. When we're attached to being anything other than what we are, we suffer. When we realize we're all in the same boat and all feeling the same things, we can use our collective energy and spirit to find joy. By revealing your struggles here, Mike, you're teaching us all by example to be fearlessly open to receiving support from others. Thank you so much!
