What can we eat?
Hi Everybody,
I have a few questions on where (if at all) these foods come into our diet. I’ve tried to classify them.
Nuts/Seeds:
Peanuts (I know peanuts are not nuts but this is my best classification guess)
Pecans
Proteins:
Soy sauce
Tempeh (my guess is no)
Condiments/spices
Nutmeg
Mustard
Mustard Seeds and/or powder
Vinegar
Vanilla (I’m assuming only whole vanilla beans because vanilla extract has alcohol in it)
Thanks,
Allison

Hi Allison!
I can answer these...
No peanuts or pecans, just almonds and walnuts during the cleanse starting days 3 & 4.
No soy sauce. Tempeh may be ok for days 5 and 6 but don't choose the ones that have flavorings. I don't eat tempeh so I'm not completely familiar with what's currently available but I know tempeh is often combined with flavoring. Think easiest digestion, plain is best.
Nutmeg is fine, mustard seeds are fine, mustard powder is usually combined with wheat flour so no mustard powder. No vinegar (use lemon juice instead) and no vanilla.
In general the reasons are digestability and complexity or just that they don't contribute much to your cleansing process!
Hope this helps, thank you for asking here!!
It does. Thanks!
Allison
